Whilst some names have shows that sum up what is to be expected we can't help but wonder what the promoter was thinking here with "The Greatest Boxing Vol 17". The show, an 8 bout show at the Korakuen Hall, is unlikely to be anything like the "Greatest Boxing" but yet we'd be shocked if the card was actually a poor one as it has several exciting and fun to watch fighters on it.
The main event for a start promises major excitement as the always fun to watch Shuhei Tsuchiya takes on Kazutaka Takakuwa in a scheduled 8 rounder. Although scheduled for 8 we don't imagine it going the distance thanks to Tsuchiya who has a habit of stopping his foes or being stopped.
As well as the explosive main event we're expecting to see showcase performances in the shows chief support bouts which will see Daisuke Sakamoto hunting a major upset as he takes on the highly ranked Nobuyuki Shindo and the OPBF ranked Takehiro Shimokawara fighting against Thailand's Yodmongkol Singmanasak.
In regards to the poster it's not one of the best but then again it's not actually a bad one either. We're not out and out fans but it's acceptable as a poster and should be a great evening of fights if your at the Korakuen Hall.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
