January 14th 2008-Bunka Gym, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan Satoshi Hosono (9-0, 7) vs Keita Manabe (26-3-1, 22) Way back in January 2008 a then unbeaten Satoshi Hosono [細野悟] faced off with Keita Manabe [真鍋圭太] at the Bunka Gym in Yokohama. Sadly we've only got very short highlights of the fight available here. October 2nd 2017- Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Reiya Abe (14-2, 7) Vs Satoshi Hosono (33-3-1, 22) Last week Japanese fight fans saw rising youngster Reiya Abe [阿部 麗也] battle against former multi-time world title challenger Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] October 3rd 2016-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (32-2-1, 21) Vs Jonathan Victor Barros (40-4-1, 22) Earlier this month Japanese veteran Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] battled against Argentina's Jonathan Victor Barros in an IBF Featherweight world title eliminator November 8th 2010-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (17-1, 13) vs Koji Umetsu (16-10-3, 7) Back in 2010 former world title challenger Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] attempted to become the Japanese Featherweight champion for the first time, taking on former champion Koji Umetsu [梅津 宏治] in a bout for the vacant title. June 26th 2016-Fashion Center Event Hall Seoul, South Korea Satoshi Hosono (31-2-1, 20) vs Rasmanudin (19-15-3, 10) This past Sunday fans had the chance to see former world title challenger Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] travel to Korea for a stay busy type bout against Indonesian fighter Rasmanudin. March 28th 2016-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (30-2-1, 20) vs Rikiya Fukuhara (31-8-1, 23) III In late March Japanese fans in Tokyo had the chance to see the third meeting between former world title challenger Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] and Japanese rival Rikiya Fukuhara [福原 力也]. The previous two bouts had both seen Hosono come out on top, though it was clear that Fukuhara was determined to change that, and claim the Japanese Featherweight title, coming in to this one. October 22nd 2015-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (28-2-1, 20) vs Takuya Watanabe (26-5-1, 12) In 2015 we saw Japanese Featherweight champion Satoshi Hosono [細野 悟] fight 4 times. One of those bouts saw former world title challenger battle the teak tough Takuya Watanabe [渡邉 卓也], who was taking part in his second Japanese title bout. Note- This video also features footage of Momo Koseki [小関 桃] Vs Ayaka Miyao [宮尾 綾香] and Ryo Matsumoto [松本 亮] Vs Saensak Sithwarunee, though both of those bouts are only shown very briefly. October 10th 2009-Yoyogi #2 Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (15-0, 12) vs Hiroyuki Enoki (28-2, 20) In the final bout before his first world title bout Satoshi Hosono [細野悟] took on Hiroyuki Enoki [榎洋之], himself a former world title challenger. Interestingly Enoki would only fight once more after this, losing that bout by stoppage, his only stoppage defeat. December 29th 2015-Ariake Colosseum Tokyo, Japan Satoshi Hosono (29-2-1, 20) Vs Akifumi Shimoda (30-4-2, 13) December 29th 2015 staged the second FES boxing card. As part of that card fans in Tokyo got the chance to see a compelling Japanese Featherweight title bout between defending champion Satoshi Hosono and former world champion Akifumi Shimoda if you like compelling and competitive fights then this is one for you.
