January 10th 2003-Changdong Highschool, Seoul, South Korea Jae Hoon Yoon (2-1, 1) vs Tae Kyung Lee (1-0-1, 1) In early 2003, as part of a Korean Rookie of the Year tournament, novices Jae Hoon Yoon and Tae Kyung Lee clashed in a 4 round bout at Middleweight, with the two men looking to progress into the next round of the tournament. January 9th 2003- Changdong Highschool, Seoul, South Korea DukHwa Jin (2-0, 1) vs Sang Kwon Gang (0-0) In a Korean Rookie of the Year bout in early 2003 DukHwa Jin took on the debuting Sang Kwon Gang, with the two men facing off in a 4 round Middleweight clash. April 9th 2021-Tynyshpayev Academy of Transport and Communications, Almaty, Kazakhstan Mikhail Kokhanchik (1-0, 1) vs Ayan Agabek (0-0) Back on April 9th Kazakh hopeful Mikhail Kokhanchik competed in his second professional bout, as he took on the debuting Ayan Agabek in Almaty, on a Tukeshov and MTK show. December 26th 2002-Changdong Highschool, Seoul, South Korea DukHwa Jin (1-0, 1) vs Jung Shik Um (0-0) In a Korean Rookie of the Year quarter final bout in 2002 fight fans saw novices DukHwa Jin and Jung Shuk Um clash at Middleweight, with the two men looking to advance through the tournament to the semi finals and the potential final. April 1st 2021-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Kosuke Kumazawa (2-1) vs Yusuke Konishi (2-4, 2) Back at the start of April fight fans got the latest show from Hideki Todaka, and on that card was a bout between novice professionals Kosuke Kumazawa [熊澤公佑] and Yusuke Konishi [小西佑亮], who competed in a very competitive 4 rounder. April 24th 2021-Convention Center, Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan Daigo Higa (17-1-1, 17) Vs Ryosuke Nishida (3-0, 1) This past weekend in Okinawa local favourite Daigo Higa [比 嘉 大吾], a former WBC Flyweight champion, faced off with Ryosuke Nishida [西田凌佑]. Coming in to this bout Higa was looking to make his first defense of the WBO Asia Pacific Bantamweight title, which he won at the very end of 2020 with a brutal KO over Yuki Strong Kobayashi, and move towards another potential world title bout. As for Nishida this was a hige step up in class, taking on a former world champion in just his 4th bout. December 24th 2002-Changdong Highschool, Seoul, South Korea Tae Kyung Lee (0-0-1) vs Dae Jin Moon (0-0) On Christmas eve 2002 Korean fight fans had a Korea Rookie of the Year show, with a lot of bouts on it. One of the contests on the card saw the unbeaten Tae Kyung Lee take on the debuting Dae Jin Moon April 24th 2021-Suamlum Night Bazaar, Ratchadaphisek, Bangkok, Thailand Nonthasith Petchnamthong (2-0) Vs Suradech Ruhasiri (6-2, 5) Earlier today in Thailand we saw the unbeaten Nonthasith Petchnamthong look to defend the WBA Asia Bantamweight title, as he took on Suradech Ruhasiri on the latest show from TL Promotions. |
