December 17th 1991-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (16-4, 11) vs In Kyu Hwang (2-8-1) Back in 1991 highly talented Japanese fighter Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋 秀行] took on Korean visitor In Kyu Hwang, in what essentially a tune up bout for Ohashi who was floating between Minimumweight and Light Flyweight at the time.

August 27th 1985-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (2-0, 1) vs Tadashi Kuramochi (12-3-2, 5) In just his third professional bout Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋 秀行] faced off with former Japanese Light Flyweight champion Tadashi Kuramochi [倉持 正] in a scheduled 10 rounder. This was a huge step up in class for Ohashi, especially given that Kuramochi had fought for a world title just 2 fights earlier, when he went 12 rounds with Jung Koo Chang. October 14th 1992-Kokugikan, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (18-4, 12) Vs Hi Yong Choi (14-0, 7) In 1992 Japan's Hideyuki Ohashi looked to become a 2-time world champion, challenging unbeaten WBA Minimumweight champion Hi Yong Choi. June 27th 1988-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Jung Koo Chang (35-1, 15) vs Hideyuki Ohashi (8-2, 4) II In 1988 Korean icon Jung Koo Chang [장정구] travelled to Japan to defend the WBC Light Flyweight title against Japan's Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋 秀行], in a second meeting between the two men December 3rd 1985- Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (3-0, 2) vs Shin Sayama (6-6, 4) I In 1985 Japanese legend Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] took on Shin Sayama, in their first of two bouts. March 20th 1986- Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (4-0, 3) vs Bong Jun Kim (8-3-2, 2) Sometimes we come across footage we can't believe exists and amazingly we've come across some fan-cam footage of the 1986 bout between Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] and Bong Jun Kim [김봉준]. The footage, and similar footage, leaves us wondering what other hidden classics are out there on other tape in someones loft. Of course this is bout is known for other reasons, but we won't spoil those reasons. April 7th 1987-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (5-2, 3) Vs Shin Sayama (6-10, 4) II Japanese great Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] twice fought Shin Sayama. Their first bout was in 1985 whilst their second came in 1987. January 11th 1988-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (7-2, 4) Vs Tomohiro Kiyuna (20-2, 8) In 1988 Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] attempted to become a 2-time Japanese champion Tomohiro Kiyuna. Interestingly both of these men had come up short in world title bouts prior to this contest against Korean legends, with Ohahsi losing to Jung Koo Chang and Kiyuna losing to Myung Woo Yuh, both in 1986. October 18th 1988- Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (8-3, 4) vs Romy Ceniza (4-7-2, 3) In summer 1986 Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] suffered his second set back at world level, being beaten by the great Jung Koo Chang for the second time. In his first bout back after that loss he took on the limited Romy Cenzia. October 3rd 1989- Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (11-3, 7) vs Boy Emilia (3-3) In 1989 Hideyuki Ohashi [大橋秀行] fought 3 times as he tried to work his way towards a third world title bout.
