February 7th 2015-University of South Eastern Philippines Gym, Barrio Obrero, Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines Vic Saludar (8-1, 7) vs Lester Jun Pronco (9-8-1, 6) At the end of 2015 Filipino puncher Vic Saludar challenged the then WBO Minimumweight champion Kosei Tanaka, in what was a thrilling encounter. To begin the year however he took on Lester Pronco. December 31st 2015-Aichi Prefectural Gym Nagoya, Aichi, Japan Kosei Tanaka (5-0, 2) Vs Vic Saludar (11-1, 9) One of the top Prospects of 2014 was Kosei Tanaka, who claimed a world title this year in just his 5th professional bout. To end 2015 he sought the first defense of that title as he took on Filipino puncher Vic Saludar in what turned out to be a thrilling encounter of power and action.
