March 16th 2024-The Grand Ho Tram Strip, Vung Tau DianXing Zhu (12-1, 10) vs Marco John Rementizo (15-4, 12) This past weekend we saw WBO Global Minimumweight champion DianXing Zhu fight in his second defense, as he took on Filipino challenger Marco John Rementizo in Vietnam on a Cocky Buffalo show. The Chinese champion came into this in great form, and was quickly becoming regarded as China's next big hopeful with an exciting all action style and spiteful power. Rementizo on the other hand was looking to claim his second international title, having won the WBA Asian Light Flyweight title last June in Thailand.

December 4th 2022-EDION Arena Osaka, Osaka Goki Kobayashi (4-0, 3) vs Marco John Rementizo (13-3, 10) In his 5th professional bout talented Japanese fighter Goki Kobayashi [小林豪己] competed in his first title bout, facing off against Marco John Rementizo in a bout for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Minimumweight title in Osaka. Kobayashi had looked brilliant to this point, but this bout was, on paper, a very big step up in class as he faced a tough, heavy handed fighter who had won his previous 5 inside the distance. This past Saturday Thai channel Workpoint put on their latest show, headlined by an OPBF Silver title fight at 140lbs, between the unbeaten pairing of Apichet Petchmanee and Sadudee To Buamas, and also an interesting looking contest between Pongsaklek Sithdabnij and Marco John Rementizo. Those two bouts, along with the rest of the show, can be seen below courtesy of Workpoint. Note this card also had a shambolic refereeing display from one of the referees, who perhaps should look for new employment following his performance here.
