October 31st 2020-Atyrau, Kazakhstan Bek Nurmaganbet (1-0, 1) vs Abdallah Shabani Pazzy (28-7-1, 10) Back in late October former Kazakh amateur standout Bek Nurmaganbet [Бек Нурмаганбет] took part in his second professional bout, taking on the heavy handed Abdallah Shabani Pazzy on a Suliemen promoted event in Atyrau. November 23rd 2016-Saint Petersburg, Russia Bek Nurmaganbet vs Nikita Ababiy In the 2016 Youth World Boxing Championships Kazakh Bek Nurmaganbet battled against American Nikita Ababiy. Interestingly both of these men are now fighting in the professional ranks and it's going to be very interesting to see if their paths cross again in the paid side of the sport. April 22nd 2019-Bangkok, Thailand Bek Nurmaganbet vs Dilshodbek Ruzmetov At the 2019 Asian Amateur Championships in Bangkok talented Kazakh Bek Nurmaganbet faced off with Uzbek stand out Dilshodbek Ruzmetov. At the end of October Kazakh promotional outfit Suleimen Promotions held a card in the city of Atyrau, Kazakhstan. The card wasn't a huge one, but it was a notable one with 5 highly regarded Kazakh hopefuls on it. This particular card had: Bekzad Nurdauletov Vs Ibrahim Maokola Danila Semenov vs Mussa Ajibu Yevgeniy Pavlov vs Goodluck Mrema Ablaikhan Zhussupov vs Meshack Mwankemwa Bek Nurmaganbet v Abdallah Shabani Pazzy This wasn't a huge card, not by any stretch, but it was a very notable one, and one that we suspect we'll be looking back on in a few years time as the starting point of something huge for Kazakh boxing. July 26th 2020-DiaMond, Minsk, Belarus Bek Nurmaganbet (0-0) vs Tamas Laska (19-21-1, 10) This weekend we saw the professional debut of talented Kazakh hopeful Bek Nurmaganbet [Бек Нурмаганбет], as he kicked off his career in Belarus against Hungarian journeyman Tamas Laska. |
