Note - Maghanoy's on screen record lists him as 9-10 (6) February 15th 1993-Tokyo, Japan Shinji Takehara (14-0, 11) vs Satoshi Yokozaki (8-10-3, 5) II In 1993 hard hitting Japanese Middleweight Shinji Takehara [竹原慎二] faced off against Satoshi Yokozaki [横崎哲角] for the second time. In their first bout Takehara stopped Yokozaki in 10 rounds, very early in his career, whilst in this bout Takehara entered the Japanese Middleweight champion and was seeking his 4th defense of that national title. January 30th 1983-Daegu, South Korea Chul Kwon (16-0, 11) Vs Marciano Sekiyama (15-8, 13) In early 1983 punchers collided as unbeaten Korean Kwon Chul [권철] took on Japan's Marciano Sekiyama in Daegu. August 17th 1992-Tokyo, Japan Shinji Takehara (13-0, 11) vs Biney Martin (11-1-1, 3) In 1992 future WBA Middleweight world champion Shinji Takehara [竹原慎二] battled against Biney Martin [ビニー・マーチン], who is currently one of the most notable referees in Japan. The bout saw Takehara looking to defend his Japanese Middleweight title for the third time.
