December 31st is always a date to mark in your calendar if you're a boxing fan and this year is possibly the most notable yet with major shows taking place across a number of major Japanese cities. One of those takes place in Kyoto where we get a world title double header, featuring Kazuto Ioka defending his WBA Flyweight title and Jonathan Guzman defending the IBF Super Bantamweight title. Originally the show was planned a world title triple header, with Yukinori Oguni challenging Guzman and Shohei Omori challenging IBF Bantamweight champion Lee Haskins and although Haskins was pulled out of that bout with Omori the card is still an attractive one. On the poster are the 3 key Japanese fighters for the card, Oguni, Omori and Ioka in what looks like a solid poster, though not the most exciting.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
