This coming weekend sees two female world title bouts with one of those coming in Mexico. It's that fight, between WBA female Minimumweight champion Anabel Ortiz and Etsuko Tada that this poster was made for.
The poster, which features Ortiz, Andres Gutierrez and Jesus Silvestre in the foreground, sees the fighters stood in front of a Mexican and Japanese flag to play off on the idea of the show being a war of nations, or a war between Japan and Mexico. Sadly however this version of the poster appears to have a mistake on it regarding Silvestre's opponent who we believe won't be Junior Granados but will instead be Japan's Ryuji Yokoyama.
With no Japanese fighter on the poster and, we believe the wrong fighter being named on the poster, we need to admit we are less than inspired by one which would have been fine with an image of Tada on it somewhere. A shame but a predictable one.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
