This coming Friday features just one show in Japan, "Mega Fight 50", and although it's not a big one it is an interesting looking one with 8 lower level domestic clashes. Of course it's not a show that will have fans around the globe talking about it but it's the sort of card that is key to the Japanese boxing scene allowing some notable youngsters some ring time and allowing fans at the Korakuen Hall a chance to watch yet more boxing.
For us the key attraction here is rising teenager Ryuto Oho who battles the once beaten Jo Tanooka in an intriguing 6 rounder that should shoot the winner up the domestic rankings at 115lbs. Despite that being the bout that interests us the most the main event is actually an 8 rounder between Ryuji Yokoyama and Koya Sato another bout between excellently matched fighters. Interesting at the time of writing Yokoyama is ranked #140 worldwide by Boxrec.com at Flyweight whilst Sato is ranked at #141 with them men having 18 and 17 ranking points!
As for the poster it doesn't look as professional as we'd have hoped. The idea is something that we do like but from what we can see it appears the pictures used have been relatively low res. Whilst we are aware that we're using a photograph of this poster we're not a fan of the PDF of the poster as seen on Noguchi gym's own website.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
