Sometimes the first poster for a show doesn't look great and that certainly seemed ton be the case when the first promotional image for the IBF Super Bantamweight title fight between Ryosuke Iwasa and TJ Doheny was revealed. Thankfully however a second poster has now been done which lacks an image of Doheny but does make Iwasa look like a star. A much better poster, and one that fits in with the Dynamic Glove branding that G+ have had for their cards.
On August 16th fight fans in Japan will see IBF Super Bantamweight champion Ryosuke Iwasa make his second defense of the title, as he takes on TJ Doheny. The fight is a genuinely big one and significant to both the fighters and the division in general. Sadly given the poster image here it's hard to believe the fight is anything special at all, and the poster is one of the worst for a world title fight we've seen in a very long time. We're hoping this will be replaced by another poster closer to the fight, but if now we're going to just say that this should have been a lot better.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
