On February 27th we get the chance to see one of the world's leading Super Bantamweight title contenders in action as Shingo Wake attempts to make the 5th defence of his OPBF title and over-come Jimmy Paypa. The bout is though tot be Wake's last before a potential clash with world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux in summer.
For the fight there has been two posters. The one on the left was the first to be released and was clearly a poster for the show with the two main event fighters as well as some of the the under-card fighters, including Kenya Yamashita, all being seen in what is an effective poster for the show. We'll not pretend it's one of our favourite but it is a credible enough poster for the match up we're set to get.
The one on the right was the second to be released and makes it clear that the show is all about Wake who is only fighter featured on the poster. This second poster also makes it clear that Wake is hunting a fight with Rigondeaux, something that has been confirmed by Rigondeaux's manager Gary Hyde among others. We actually prefer the "Wake" poster but understand why others won't.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
