One of the many cards this coming Wednesday featuring an Asian fighter comes from Mexico where Mexican based Japanese fighter Shoki Sakai continues his career and takes on Fernando Torres. The shows isn't a big one but it's always enjoyable following Sakai's career.
The poster is basic but effective and shows off the the main event fighters, the names and their national flags. It's simple but we like it. We know improvements could be made but it's certainly not a bad poster.

The most exciting looking female fight this weekend comes from Mexico where the amazingly popular Mariana Juarez battles against Japan's excellent Naoko Fujioka in a fantastic match up. In fact this might end up being one of the best female bouts of the year.
The poster features both of the main event fighters on it as well as support fighter Julio Ceja and his originally announced opponent Tiger Tor Buamas. Tiger was replaced after the original poster, and will be fighting Oscar Blanquet, but the female bout will go ahead as planned. The poster is a pretty cool one in some ways. It shows that both are world class fighters, having both held WBC world titles, it shows the fighters clearly and it shows their national flags. It is Japan Vs Mexico, it is world class fighters colliding and it is a special fighter. There isn't much more to say about it.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
