We'll admit that we're awaiting for the Korean boxing scene to kick off like it was back in the 1970's and 1980's. We admit it's unlikely we'll get to see any great Korean fighters for the next few years but it's hard not to be excited about this Sunday's title triple header from Chuncheon.
The main event is, as you may have guess, an all female fight as Su Yun Hong (9-0, 5) defends her WBO female Minimumweight title against unbeaten Japanese teenager Mako Yamada (6-0, 2). Amazingly though we also get two Korean title fights on the card as we end up with one of the better looking Korean shows in a very long time.
In regards to the poster, it's not great. It looks very much like an amateur has done it and pales in comparison to the last one that Hong was featured in (which can be seen here) though it does give us TV details, the date and the fighters involved in the main card.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
