On October 29th Mexican fans will see two notable bouts featuring Asian fighters taking on local former world champions. One sees Japan's Shohei Kawashima challenger Super Flyweight champion Cristian Mijares whilst the other sees Filipino Crison Omayao take on former unified Minimumweight champion Francisco Rodriguez Jr. Both bouts are advertised on the poster and both look like interesting match ups, though the poster does look like it has peculiar dimensions.
This weekend in Mexico fight fans will get the chance to see Hirotsugu Yamamoto face off against former multi-weight world champion Jhonny Gonzalez. Although the visitor is a relative unknown compared to the local favourite he is given a similar place on the poster and it's a pretty solid effort, even if it's not the most exciting. It plays on the rivalry between the two countries and is a solid overall effort from those involved.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
