After Sunday's amazingly busy schedule it's nice to see a relatively quiet Monday with just a sole card at the Korakuen Hall.
The main event of the show sees Welterweight puncher Toshio Arikawa (8-2, 7) who will be facing Yasuhiro Okawa (9-11-3, 3), Okawa will be ending a 2 year break from the ring and comes in on the back of successive defeats whilst Arikawa enters on a 5 fight winning streak.
The co-main feature is at Super Flyweight as Takayasu Kobayashi (16-6-3, 2) fights Shinichiro Morikawa (12-4-1, 8). On paper this looks a pretty nice match up but Kobayashi is now 34 and enters on 3 straight losses whilst Morikawa is 5-1 in his last 6.
As well as the two co-features, both scheduled for 8 rounds, the show features 3 bouts scheduled for 6.
These are expected to be Tomoyuki Omura (6-3, 3) facing Suguru Kamada (4-2, 4) in what looks like to be an enthralling Light Middleweight contest, Hideto Miyoshi (5-2-1, 4) taking on who we believe to be Ryuto Araya (5-0-1) and Sakagami Junpei (3-2-2, 3) looks to end a 3 fight winless streak as he battles Yuki Kimura (5-8, 4) who has been stopped in 2 of his last 3.
The show kicks off with a trio of bouts scheduled for 4 rounds. Which begin with Shingo Kusanagi (1-1, 1) taking on Yudai Hata (0-1) in a Super Bantamweight contest. The second bout on the show sees Tatsuo Sakamoto (2-1-1, 2) fighting Kenji Akabane (2-5, 1). Akabane is winless in almost 4 years so shouldn't be seen as a big threat here. The final of the 4 round bouts sees Tomohiro Seo (3-5) facing Akagi Naoki (1-2-2, 1).
