January 14th 2021-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Takuma Inoue (13-1, 3) vs Keita Kurihara (15-5, 13) The first title fight, of any kind, to take place in Japan in 2021 saw OPBF Bantamweight champion Keita Kurihara [栗原慶太] take on former WBC "interim" Bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue [井上拓真] at Korakuen Hall. The bout, a highly anticipated one, wasn't shown on live TV in Japan but was aired on Fuji TV a few days later.
