December 9th 2014- Bangkok, Thailand Riku Kano (4-1-1, 3) Vs Madit Sada (9-18-1, 3) We all know Japan has a weather of young talent with the likes of Takuma Inoue and Kosei Tanaka being among the very best prospect in the world. Amazingly one talented Japanese youngster has yet to make his Japanese debut but has already had 7 bouts and has shown a lot of promise. That youngster is Riku Kano who, at just 17, was too young to get a Japanese license until very recently. Earlier this week Kano fought in his first title bout taking on Indonesian fighter Madit Sada in a bout for the WBA Asia Minimumweight title, a stepping stone belt towards a WBA world ranking. It was a step up in class for the youngster though it was a step he was expected to make easily considering his team believe he has the potential to become Japan's youngest ever world champion. Interestingly this bout came just weeks after Kano defeated Wittaya Sithsaithong showing just how active the young fighter is. (Video courtesy of ทีเคโอ มวยโลก)
