November 9th 2003-Sambo Hall, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan Hozumi Hasegawa (13-2, 4) vs Alvin Felicilda (19-11-2, 10) In 2003 Japanese fighter Hozumi Hasegawa [長谷川穂積] defended the OPBF Bantamweight title against for the second time, facing Alvin Felicilda in what would be Felicilda final bout. Amazingly this was the Filipino's 6th bout of 2003, and his 4th in the space of 5 months. One of the recent Japanese boxing legends is Hozumi Hasegawa [長谷川穂積] who showed why he is so highly regarded earlier today as he took on huge punching Mexican Hugo Ruiz in a bout for WBC Super Bantamweight world title, a title held by Ruiz coming into this mouth watering contest. The following year the two men had a rematch which was televised, albeit on delay, by British television channel Sky Sports.
