September 26th 1993-Hua Mark Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand Ratanapol Sor Vorapin (14-2-1, 10) v Domingus Siwalette (0-0) Thailand's Ratanapol Sor Vorapin [รัตนพล ส.วรพิน] made a lot of defenses of the IBF Minimumweight title back in the 1990's. One of the most peculiar was his defense against Domingus Siwalette, who appears to have had no professional bouts before this contest, and subsequently went on to lose 9 recorded bouts. In fact his career record of 0-10 may be the very worst of any world title challenger. We do need to note however that Indonesian records are notoriously incomplete and it does seem that Siwalette was an Indonesian. |
