May 7th 2017- Shan Xi Normal University Stadium, Xi An, China Xu Can (11-2) vs Jack Asis (35-19-5, 18) Thsi past week fans in China saw world ranked local Xu Can take on veteran Jack Asis in a bout for Xu's WBA "international" Super Featherweight title. Note- We're sorry about the quality of this, sadly the Chinese source material wasn't high quality December 17th 2016-ZheJiang University Stadium (Zi Jin gang Campus), Hangzhou, China Xu Can (10-2) vs Spice Matsushita (16-8-1, 2) Earlier this month Chinese fans had the chance to see promising local Xu Can battle Japanese veteran Spice Matsushita in an interesting looking bout that had "distance bout" written all over it, with the men having just 2 combined stoppage wins in 37 total bouts. September 30th 2016-Wenzhou, China Xu Can (9-2) vs Ramiro Blanco (14-0-3, 7) Earlier today Chinese fans saw Xu Can [徐灿] face off with Ramiro Blanco in a really high action bout for the WBA International Super Featherweight title. June 24th 2016-Capital Gym, Beijing, China Xu Can (8-2) vs Corey McConnell (15-1-1, 2) Earlier this year Chinese fighter Xu Can [徐灿] took on Australian Corey McConnell in what looked like a great test for the Chinese hopeful. February 12th 2016-Olympic Park Arena Lu Zhou, China Xu Can (7-2) Vs Isaias Santos Sampaio (26-11, 24) As part of the 2016 Chinese New Year event fans in China saw Xu Can [徐灿] battle Brazilian puncher Isaias Santos Sampaio. September 18th 2015-Yageer Gymnasium Ningbo, China Xu Chan (6-2) Vs Chaiyong Sithsaithong (37-13-4, 26) The developing Chinese boxing scene will likely throw a number of prospects at us over the coming years. We suspect one of the ones to watch may be Xu Chan who impressed us earlier this year when he beat Hurrican Futa and then Kris George. He looked to continue that run as he took on Thai veteran Chaiyong Sithsaithong. |
