Action continues this week with more fights happening on Friday. Unfortunately details on some of these contests is scarce and as a result we're not totally sure about who is fighting.
The sketchiest of the details that we have are from Thailand. What we know is that there will be a show on Thai Channel 7 featuring some fighters from the "CP Freshmart" banner. Unfortunately what we don't know is exactly which fighters, their opponents or even what titles are on the line. Merely that there will be some form of a WBC belt up for grabs in the main event.
We think, though aren't sure, that one of the fighters will be Yodmongkol CP Freshmart (32-2, 19), AKA Yodmongkol Vor Saengthep, the current WBC Youth Light Flyweight champion. Though as we said, we're far from certain if we're right.
What we do know, thankfully, is that there action expected in Russia. We expect a 5 fight card at the Podmoskovye Hall in Podolsk.
Whilst we know there is a card expected in Podolsk the details aren't yet complete on the show. This is evident in several bouts including a super Featherweight contest that has been scheduled for Alexander Ivanov (4-0) and a contest for Middleweight Fedor Mushtranov (4-5, 2), neither of whom have yet to have an opponent announced.
Thankfully we do have complete details for the other 3 contests on the card. The most notable of those being a bout between the hard hitting Arman Ovsepyan (13-3, 11) and the tough journeyman Vyacheslav Yakovenko (7-17-1, 3), a man who has only been stopped once.
The remaining two contests will see the unbeaten Gegam Mkrtchyan (2-0) fighting Mikhail Sukiasyan (2-2) and Alexander Anikin (0-2) fighting fellow winless fighter Ihtiyor Djuraev (0-1).
