The only notable fight that we've gotten details of so far is a surprisingly promising 12 round bout in Thailand as the unbeaten, but very much untested Kaewfah Tor Buamas (10-0, 7) defends his interim WBC Asian Boxing Council Super Featherweight title
The 26 Tor Buamas has been a professional since November 2009 though in his 10 fight career has faced 8 debuting opponents. Of the other 2 opponents one was 0-4 entering the ring against him and the other, Falazona Fidal was 15-25 so we'll be honest his record doesn't tell us anything at all.
Whilst Tor Buamas has a perfect record on paper his opponent, Filipino Cristian Abila (9-10-3, 1) has the exact opposite. Yes he's a fighter with a losing record though there is a reason to that with him having faced much, much stiffer competition than the Thai. In fact having faced fighters like Daud Cino Yordan and Allan Tanada it's clear that Abila would have picked up a fair few losses.
Although Abila has lost to weaker opponents than the 2 listed above he has also shown that he can be the guy to cause an upset here and there. He has scored a draw with Rene Bestudio back in 2010 and most recently he upset Ariel Delgado with a KO (the first and only KO victory on Abila's record.
On paper it's a mismatch but we wouldn't be massively shocked if Abila made life very difficult for the defending champion who is facing his first test of any value.
