March 24th 2018-Workpoint Studio, Bang Phun, Thailand Kompayak Porpramook (58-5, 40) vs Siridech Deebook (15-4-1, 13) I In March 2018 former champion Kompayak Porpramook, then fighting under his birth name of Suriyan Satorn, fought against Siridech Deebook, aka Pongsaklek Sithdabnij, in the first of 2 fights between the two men. This past Saturday Thai channel Workpoint put on their latest show, headlined by an OPBF Silver title fight at 140lbs, between the unbeaten pairing of Apichet Petchmanee and Sadudee To Buamas, and also an interesting looking contest between Pongsaklek Sithdabnij and Marco John Rementizo. Those two bouts, along with the rest of the show, can be seen below courtesy of Workpoint. Note this card also had a shambolic refereeing display from one of the referees, who perhaps should look for new employment following his performance here. April 8th 2016-Wat Kedkanudom, Klongluang Pathum Thani, Thailand Pongsaklek Sithdabnij (7-3-1, 6) vs Demsi Manufoe (9-4, 6) This past Friday Thai fans saw Pongsaklek Sithdabnij [พงษ์ศักดิ์เล็ก นครหลวงโปรโมชั่น] attempt to continue a 7 fight winning run, as he faced Demsi Manufoe. December 18th 2015-Ratchaprachasamasai School, Phra Pradaeng, Thailand Pongsaklek Sithdabnij (6-3-1, 5) v Iwan Key (10-14-3, 1) At the start of 2015 Pongsaklek Sithdabnij was was 0-3. Since then however he has been in some form, racking up wins and building a promising career for himself. This past Friday he fought in his first title bout as he faced Iwan Key for a WBC regional Light Flyweight title. November 20th-Municipality of Klong 6, Klongluang District Pathum Thani, Thailand Pongsaklek Sithdabnij (5-3-1, 4) v Kongveha Himalaigym (0-0) The name "Pongsaklek" will always be associated with the great "Pongsaklek Wonjongkam" there is however another Pongsaklek making his name in the sport, Pongsaklek Sithdabnij. The "new Pongsaklek" recently took a 6 fight unbeaten run into a fight with the debuting Kongveha Himalaigym. |
