July 9th 2009- Luna Park, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Kenichi Yamaguchi (15-1-2, 4) Vs Billy Dib (22-1, 11) At it's heart boxing is a sport that sees two participants fighting with aim being to win the fight. It is however fought within the realms of rules with a referee their to enforce the rules. Sadly however not all fights are kept with in the rules and one such bout was the infamous brawl between Kenichi Yamaguchi and Billy Dib. The fight was fought more like a street fight with the charismatic Yamaguchi bull rushing Dib at the opening bell and looking more like a back-street brawler than a boxer. Whilst Yamaguchi was certainly a nightmare and peculiar boxer Dib wasn't the cleanest fighter himself. We won't pretend this was a thriller but was certainly a peculiar bout that saw a bit of everything, other than clean boxing and the ending was certainly not what we want to see in the ring.
