"GGG", as he is popularly known as, gets in the ring with the intention of scoring a KO every time. He's about making fans remember him and making them want more. He's not just fun to watch but he also keeps a busy schedule whilst making it clear he wants the biggest fights in and around his division.
Unfortunately Golvokin hasn't been able to get many of the bigger fights that he perhaps deserves but as a result we have seen him basically tear through the second tier of the division including exciting American puncher Curtis Stevens. Stevens had played the tough man prior to the fight and had come into the contest with a fearsome reputation of his own, he ended the bout however as a man who had been made to look third rate.
The performance wasn't one of Golovkin's stand out ones but it was still impressive and although he showed a few cracks at times, he never looked in trouble as he continued to leave a wake of broken men in his wake.
