March 21st 1988-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Takeshi Yamato (4-1-2, 3) vs Toshinori Matsuyanagi (5-5, 5) On March 21st 1988 Japanese hosted one of the biggest fights in the country's history, with Heavyweight star Mike Tyson fighting Tony Tubbs at the Tokyo Dome. Amazingly in the same city there was another card, headlined by a Japanese Middleweight title bout between Takeshi Yamato and Toshinori Matsuyanagi.

July 21st 1975-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Yasutsune Uehara (11-2, 8) vs Susumu Okabe (29-8, 15) I In 1975 former world title challenger, and future world champion, Yasutsune Uehara, challenged Susumu Okabe, the then Japanese Super Featherweight champion. Monday 14, December 1987-Tokyo, Japan Masaharu Owada (15-11-1, 13) Vs Takeshi Yamato (4-0-2, 3) In 1987 Japanese Middleweight champion Masaharu Owada took on unbeaten Takeshi Yamato. July 12th 1984-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Tsuyoshi Hamada (13-1, 13) Vs Romy Cunanan (17-8-4, 3) In 1984 Japanese puncher Tsuyoshi Hamada [浜田 剛史] battled against Filipino foe Romy Cunanan. October 14th 1983-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Tsuyoshi Hamada (11-1, 11) vs Donny Soriano (14-11-2, 1) After returning from hand surgery in August 1983 Tsuyoshi Hamada [浜田 剛史] would have his second comeback bout against Donny Soriano.
