July 15th 2016-Horseshoe Casino, Tunica, Mississippi, USA
Tugstsogt Nyambayar (5-0, 5) vs Rafael Vazquez (16-2, 13) Earlier this year Mongolian hopeful Tugstsogt Nyambayar battled against Rafael Vazquez in a "blink and you miss it" bout in the US. August 27th 2015-The Hangar, Costa Mesa, California, USA Tugstsogt Nyambayar (2-0, 2) Vs Arturo Badillo (6-1, 7) When it comes to fighters we're excited about we really cannot speak highly enough about Mongolian sensation Tugstogt Nyambayar. The Mongolian, dubbed "King Tug", was fighting in his third pro bout this past Thursday when he fought on the under-card of an American card against an opponent that we've got to confess we're unsure about. Note-At the time of writing Boxrec states Tugstogt's opponent was Jonathan Hernandez (2-4-1, 2) though the fighter himself has said that it was actually Arturo Badillo (who boxrec list as being 21-7, 19). All the detaisl suggest that it was Badillowho was announce in the ring, and sported the nickname of Badillo, though not his record. April 18th 2015- StubHub Center, Carson, California, USA Tugstsogt Nyambayar (1-0, 1) Vs Manuel Rubalcava (2-12) Mongolian fighter Tugstsogt Nyambayar is expected to be fast tracked up the rankings given his extensive amateur background. Despite that background he is still beginning his career with a few journeymen and his second professional bout saw him take on professional tough guy Manuel Rubalcava. On paper it was a mismatch with Rubalcava, coming in as the designated victim for the Mongolian prospect, however Rubalcava had never been stopped, was gutsy and had typically taken some very good prospects the distance. The wasn't a case of who would win but how good the Mongolian would look on his way to winning. (Video courtesy of Enkh Od) |
