In his second defense of the title the Japanese tough guy took on hitting Venezuelan Alexander Munoz, who was fighting in Japan for the 5th time as a professional where he had gained a reputation as a Japan killer, with 4 previous wins in the country.

Sadly his reign was a short one, lsoing the title in just his 10th bout. His first bout back after hirst first defeat saw him taking on Thai foe Petchklongphai Sor Thantip. September 3rd 2013-Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand Denkaosan Kaovichit (61-3-1, 26) vs Nobuo Nashiro (19-5-1, 13) In 2013 we saw Japan's Nobuo Nashiro [名城 信男] fight for the final time, as he travelled to Thailand to face Denkaosan Kaovichit [เด่นเก้าแสน เก้าวิชิต] in a bout for the WBA interim Super Flyweight title. September 30th 2009-Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Osaka, Japan Nobuo Nashiro (13-1, 8) vs Hugo Fidel Cazares (30-6-1, 22) The teak tough Nobuo Nashiro [名城 信男] was one of the many Japanese fighters who raced to a world title, winning his first in his 8th bout. In his 13th bout he became a 2-time champion and in his second defense of his second reign he fought the first of two bouts with Mexican Hugo Fidel Cazares. March 31st 2012-Sumiyoshi Ward Center, Osaka, Osaka, Japan Nobuo Nashiro (16-4-1, 10) vs Petchkrapee Sithsaithong (0-1) Japan's tough Nobuo Nashiro [名城 信男] managed to fight in 11 world title bouts in a 27 fight career. Whilst that means much of his career was fought at the top level he did have some easier bouts, including this one against Thailand's Petchkrapee Sithsaithong. Kazuto Ioka did it in fight #7, Naoya Inoue in fight #6 and Kosei Tanaka in fight #5.
