March 30th 2013- Salle des Étoiles, Monte Carlo, Monaco Gennady Golovkin (25-0, 22) Vs Nobuhiro Ishida (24-8-2, 9) In 2013 Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin took part in the first of 3 bouts in Monaco. In the opposite corner was Japan's Nobuhiro Ishida [石田 順裕]. Coming in to the bout Ishida had never been stopped, whilst "GGG" had stopped his last 12 opponents in a row and was looking to extend that run here.

April 30th 2014-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Kyotaro Fujimoto (8-1, 5) vs Nobuhiro Ishida (25-9-2, 10) In 2013 The JBC re-activated the Japanese Heavyweight title with Kyotaro Fujimoto [藤本京太郎] claiming the title with a win over Okello Peter in July of that year. One man who wasn't impressed by the new champion was former Light Middleweight Nobuhiro Ishida [石田 順裕], who made the remarkable move all the way up the scales to face off with Fujimoto. Sadly the JBC didn't allow this fight to be for the title, limiting it to an 8 rounder, though they did allow a rematch for the title exactly a year later. Just 10 months later Ishida returned to the US and took on American fighter Paul Williams.
