When we first started this site there was a bunch of videos we thought we'd never come across. One of those, that we figured would be the "holy grail" of modern day Korean boxing was the debut of Min Wook Kim. The Korean "Sniper" debuted back in May 2010 and fought the much more experienced Taek Min Kim, a former Korean Super Featherweight champion. The bout was one of 9 fights on a show in Asan, South Korea and whilst the main event got a bit of attention and saw Randy Suico battling Kyung-Suk Kwak for the OPBF Light Welterweight title, we never expected to come across the Kim Vs Kim fight. Thankfully however we have done. The bout, which was scheduled for 8 rounds, saw Min's team having real faith in him by putting him in such a tough contest to start. Within moment of the fight starting however you could tell this was no ordinary debutant. Whilst he wasn't Naoya Inoue good on debut he still looked like a special talent. We won't ruin the fight for those who haven't seen it but we will say that everyone with an interest in either man should give it a watch as it is really interesting even if it's not the most exciting bout either man has been in.
