Earlier this year we saw Japan's Kohei Oba stood on the verge of a world title fight, all he had to do was win an IBF Bantamweight eliminator against Nicaraguan-American Randy Caballero. Of course things weren't quite that easy and despite having home advantage Oba, AKA "The Mayweather of Nagoya", was given a bit of a beating by his visiting opponent who looked too good from relatively early in the bout. In fact as soon as the opening "jab sessions" were all over it was almost all Caballero who looked faster, more powerful and more skilled against the Japanese fighter who was dropped in the opening round and stopped in round 8. Despite this bout being an eliminator back in April Caballero has still not had his chance to fight for the title with the IBF instead giving chances to a number of British fighters. Thankfully Caballero now has an opportunity lined as he faces former champion Stuart Hall for the vacant title, though no date has yet been set. (We're sorry about he video being shaky that's sadly out of our hands, though we do want to thank yasu boxer for the video)
