February 12th 1996-Tokyo, Japan Jintoku Sato (23-2, 21) vs Teruo Nagase (11-2, 8) II In 1995 Jintoku Sato [佐藤仁徳] stopped Teruo Nagase [永瀬輝男] in 8 rounds to defend the Japanese Welterweight title. The following year the two men fought again, giving us a sensational back and forth war on a "Diamond Glove" show.

June 15th 1991-Tokyo, Japan Jintoku Sato (7-0, 7) vs Eiji Kikuzaki (18-5-4, 15) In 1991 Japanese fans saw Jintoku Sato [佐藤仁徳] and Eiji Kikuzaki [菊崎英二] clash in a bout between heavy handed bangers. (Note video only contains 1 round of the fight) July 12th 1993-Tokyo, Japan Jung Oh Park (23-2-2, 16) vs Jintoku Sato (15-1, 15) In 1993 Japan's Jintoku Sato, the then Japanese Welterweight champion, challenged Korean Jung Oh Park for the OPBF Welterweight title. Park was fighting in Japan for just the second bout in the country following a loss in his Japanese debut and would later challenger for a world title. Sato on the other hand never reached world level but did have very dangerous power and retired with 23 stoppages from 25 wins! For fight fans who enjoy short but action packed fights this one isn't a bad choice with a lot of leather thrown! |
