November 9th 1982-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Jackal Maruyama (18-8-3, 10) vs Tsutomu Itokazu (5-2-2, 3) III In the early 1980's Japanese fighter Jackal Maruyama [ジャッカル丸山] and Tsutomu Itokazu [糸数 勤] completed a trilogy. The first bout had seen Maruyama retain the Japanese Super Featherweight title with a 6th round KO. The rematch had seen Itokazu claim the title, with a 9th round KO, and 9 months after their second bout they clashed again.
