November 6th 2015-Singkorn Border Pass, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand Kompayak Porpramook (54-5, 38) v Espinos Sabu (12-7-2, 5) Former world champion Kompayak Porpramook continued his career recently when he faced Indonesian fighter Espinos Sabu in what seemed likely to be a good test for the all action Porpramook, who was of course involved in FOTY contenders with Koki Eto and and Adrian Hernandez.

September 25th 2015-Thailand Petchbarngborn Kokietgym (33-7-1, 15) Vs Espinos Sabu (12-6-2, 5) A recent PABA Super Flyweight title bout saw Petchbarngborn Kokietgym put his title on the line against Indonesia's Espinos Sabu in what looked like a potential banana skin for the world ranked Thai. (Video courtesy of tko.in.th) January 2nd 2014- Thailand Stamp Kiatniwat (11-0, 5) Vs Espinos Sabu (12-4-1, 5) In 2014 we were impressed by Thai teenage Stamp Kiatniwat who looked like one of the most promising prospects in Thailand. To begin 2015 he was given a solid test by the under-rated Espinos Sabu of Indonesia. Unlike many Indonesian's Sabu didn't turn up to lose or just survive, instead he came to win and to upset the touted teenager. For those who recognise Sabu he has been in with a solid series of fighters including Rusalee Samor, Warlito Parrenas, Rex Tso and Galih Susanto with his fight against Tso being a bit of a hidden gem from late last year. (Video courtesy of ทีเคโอ มวยโลก) Macau is quickly becoming a new Asian hub of boxing and that's courtesy not just of Zou Shiming and Manny Pacquiao but also lesser known local talent, such as the always fun to watch Rex Tso who is really never in an unexciting bout. We saw Tso in action on the most recent Macau card as he battled against Indonesian journeyman Espinos Sabu in what was one of the shows most exciting contests. We won't pretend that this bout was a FOTY candidate but it was certainly an entertaining affair between two men looking to put on a show and give the fans their money's worth |
