September 17th 1995-Nonthaburi, Thailand Veeraphol Sahaprom (3-0, 3) Vs Daorung Chuwatana (55-5-3, 33) In recent year's we've seen young Japanese fighters climb through the rankings at an alarming rate with current world champions like Naoya Inoue and Kosei Tanaka. In the past however it was often the Thai's who moved over from Muay Thai to boxing who were fast tracked, like Saensak Muangsurin and Veeraphol Sahaprom [ธีระพล สำราญกลาง].
