This was a bloody war and would be regarded as one of the best fights when Ring Magazine did their "The 100 Greatest Title Fights of All-Time" list in 1996.

In his final fight he took on multi-time world champion Chartchai Chionoi [ชาติชาย เชี่ยวน้อย] in a bout for the WBA Flyweight title. |
