December 26th 2020-Sumida City Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan Jin Sasaki (9-0, 8) Vs Aso Ishiwaki (8-2-1, 6) It's fair to say that 2020 was a massive year for unbeaten Japanese hopeful Jin Sasaki [佐々木尽] who really went from obscure prospect, to fast rising star in the making. At the end of the year he took on the tough, rugged and always fun to watch Aso Ishiwaki [石脇麻生] in a Japanese Youth titke bout at 140lbs. On paper this promised to be a brilliant match up between two youngsters with fun styles who both desperately wanted to win their first title.

March 25th 2021-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Gonte Lee (2-0-1, 1) vs Aso Ishiwaki (8-3-1, 6) Earlier today at Korakuen Hall we saw former amateur standout Gonte Lee [李 健太] take on the popular Aso Ishiwaki [石脇麻生] in a brilliant match up between talented technical boxer and exciting pressure fighter. For Lee this was his first bout in well over a year whilst Ishiwaki was looking to bounce back from a December loss to Jin Sasaki in a Japanese Youth title bout. It's worth noting that Lee is listed as being "Kuntae Lee" by Teiken and the graphic on screen for him here is "Gonte Ri". We think the reason for this is due to him having a Korean name that doesn't quite translate into English properly. Back on December 26th the team from A-Sign boxing took over the Sumida City Gymnasium, in Tokyo and put on an excellent post-Christmas show that really had everything we would want to see on a show.
