March 17th 2009-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Akira Yaegashi (9-2, 6) Vs Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (0-0) We've probably seen the of 3-weight world champion Akira Yaegashi [八重樫 東], who is in his mid 30's now and not the fighter he once was. Here we see a bout from much earlier in his career as he took on Wirawut Wor Por Srisaket. The Thai would later become the WBC and Ring Magazine Super Flyweight champion, and is better known as Srisaket Sor Rungvisai [ศรีสะเกษ นครหลวงโปรโมชั่น]. (A huge thanks to the Ohashi Gym for uploading this footage)

Wirawuth, at the time looking clueless in the ring, would later become WBC and Ring Magazine Super Flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai [ศรีสะเกษ นครหลวงโปรโมชั่น], one of the most celebrated Thai's in professional boxing. |
