February 27th 2016-Cebu City Waterfront Hotel & Casino, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines Melvin Jerusalem (8-0, 7) vs Florante Condes (27-9-1, 23) In 2016 rising Filipino hopeful Melvin Jerusalem faced off with former IBF world champion Florante Condes in an 8 rounder. December 28th 1991-Elorde Sports Center, Paranaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines Rolando Bohol (27-8-3, 5) vs Jonathan Albay (14-7-3, 6) In 1991 former world champion Rolando Bohol took on Jonathan Albay at the Elorde Sports Center. Sadly despite this fight being from the 1990's the best quality footage of it appears to be in black and white, which seems rather bizarre given the quality footage that is out there from a similar time period. October 3rd 2009-Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines Drian Francisco (17-0-1, 13) vs Roberto Vasquez (27-3, 20) In October 2009 the then unbeaten Drian Francisco took a notable step up in class as he took on former world champion Roberto Vasquez at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City. It's worth noting that this bout was a WBA International Super Flyweight title, and the winner would take a huge step towards a WBA world title fight.
