Thai's are in action again today as Bungnamtao plays host to a highly promising card with several titles on the line and some oddly interesting match ups.
The main event is the WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) Featherweight title bout which sees the unbeaten Bualuang OnesongchaiGym (10-0, 4) attempts to make the second defense of the belt as he takes on Filipino challenger Rodynie Rafol (10-3-2, 4). This, on paper looks to be a good test for Bualuang who should come through it well enough but not completely have things his own way.
In female action Buakaew OnesongchaiGym (5-1-1) attempts to claim the female WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) Flyweight title as she faces former world title contender Norj Guro (6-2-1, 4) from the Philippines. Although the Filipino is the slight under-dog she has faced better competition and losses to Riyo Togo and Hee-Jung Yuh (both away from home) are nothing to be ashamed about.
In the most notable of the none title bouts Susu Sithjadeang (5-2, 2) faces Petchwanchai Sor Visetkit (7-3, 4) in a rubber match. The two who faced off twice in 2012 each hold a record of 1-1 with each other and this bout should, hopefully, let them settle the score.
Fonluang Sor Singyu (5-3, 3) will look to score his second victory of the year as he goes up against Saksri Twins Gym (0-1). Although Sor Singyu isn't expected to go far the 24 year old should manage to come out victorious here.
In probably the least interesting bout of the day Iranian born Cruiserweight Mohammadali Bayat Farid (3-0, 3) fights for the 3rd time in just a few weeks as he takes on Saisilek Por Suwan (0-1) in a scheduled 6 rounder. To date Farid has fought just 5 rounds whilst Por Suwan has just 2 rounds of professional experience under his belt. We don't expect any but a stoppage by Farid.
