Former world champion Pornsawan Porpramook (28-5-1, 17) successfully claimed the interim PABA Light Flyweight title thanks to a 5th round technical decision decision victory over Filipino opponent Jayson Rotoni (13-12-1, 7).
Porpramook, a former WBA Minimumweight champion who is best known for his 10 round thriller with Akira Yaegashi back in October 2011, looks to be making a move on the Light Flyweight division now. Sadly for the 35 year old Porpramook the 108lb division is one of boxing's more under-rated current divisions and he'll likely struggle to claim a title there.
Also on the card was a victory for Taiwo Ali (11-3, 6) who stopped the debuting Eufa Peesaddaenggym (0-1) in just 2 rounds.
