We finish our second month of Manny Pacquiao related music with "Pambansang Kamao" by D-coy feat.Artstrong, E.S.P and Naythan-J.
The song, like the previous 3 in this series, is a rap track dedicated to Pacquiao. Unlike the previous tracks however this one isn't just in English, instead mixing English with Filipino.
As with most Pacquiao related songs this is hard hitting, energetic, and even as non-rap fans we enjoyed the track.
The sheer number of songs dedicated to Manny Pacquiao is quite staggering. Another is this one from South Psycho Side title "Pacman Anthem".
The band are a Mexican/Filipino group and have got a really hard hitting rap song here. It's not necessarily what we'd listen to, but you can certainly see the appeal of the track, and it's one we suspect would be great for those doing a work out.
Solid and basic, but hard hitting rap here!
We're going to start this by admitting we know nothing at all about Unique Umali, but they did do a song related boxing with their track "They Call Me Pacman".
Last last wee's track this is another rap song referencing the Filipino great through out with it's lyrics. We'll admit the production values in the video are questionable. As for the song it's self, dubbed the "Manny Pacquiao Anthem", has a sense of familiarity even.
Nothing amazing, but certainly nothing terrible, and certainly something that can get the juices flowing.
The last few videos in the series have been linked to boxing, for the most part, due to the anime's they have been used in. Today however we head back to songs about boxers as we leave you with "Pound for Pound" by The Trackrunners.
The track is about Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao and it's a damn good song.
The track is a English language rap track, which is a huge change to recent songs we've included, and much more accessible to many of our readers. Nothing too original, but still a very solid track.
Some things don't fit in elsewhere on the site so have been put here as a result.
