Tomorrow fans in Tokyo get the chance to see a pair of Japanese title fights. The most interesting of those is a Japanese Super Bantamweight title fight between defending champion Yukinori Oguni (14-1-1, 4), and the heavy handed Taiki Minamoto (10-4, 9).
Today the two men made weight, with both men weighing 122lbs, the divisional limit. At the weigh in both men looked in great shape with ribbed mid-sections and it was very clear that both had put their all in to their preparation for the bout. Notably Minamoto looked the naturally taller man, though didn't appear as naturally wide as the champion.
The bout, which takes place at the Korakuen Hall tomorrow, is to be Oguni's 2nd defense of the title and looks to be a really good test of his toughness against a genuine power puncher.
