Tomorrow fights fans in Osaka get 4 title bouts all in 1 show at the EDION Arena Osaka. Whilst everyone should know about the two world titles, a WBA Flyweight title bout between Kazuto Ioka (19-1, 11) [井岡一翔] and Keyvin Lara (18-1-1, 6) along with an IBF Super Bantamweight world title bout between Shingo Wake (20-4-2, 12) [和氣 慎吾] and Jonathan Guzman (21-0-0-1, 21), a lot less attention has been given to under-card title bouts.
One of those is a Japanese Light Middleweight title bout between veteran champion Yuki Nonaka (29-8-3, 9) [野中 悠樹] and exciting young hopeful Ryosuke Maruki (12-3-1, 7) [丸木凌介].
Today those two men made weight, with both weighing in at 154lbs for the contest. For the 38 year old Nonaka that's the weight he's been in his last 5 bouts, including his title win and 4 subsequent defenses. As for Maruki he it's his second straight bout weighing in at 154lbs exactly, but his 4 in the last 2 years, having previously fought as a Welterweight for much of his career.
