Over the past few weeks we've been bringing updates regarding an upcoming Korean card dubbed "Show me the KO's", the next AK Promotions card. Today we finally saw the bouts being announced, and listed by the KBC, rather than leaving us with just single fighters from the show.
The main event of the card will be the debut of Pakistani fighter Muhammad Waseem (0-0) who will go up against Min Wook Lee (2-2) in a 10 round bout for the Korean Bantamweight title. The bout isn't as ambitious on paper as we'd expected from Waseem, considering his wealth of amateur experience, though to see him go straight in to 10 rounds bouts is a positive step in the right direction.
The co-feature on the card will see big punching American Randall Bailey (45-8-0-1, 38) face off against Filipino Joel De La Cruz (19-23-3, 7). This is another 10 round bout though won't be expected to go the distance considering the "stick of dynamite" that Bailey has in his right hand.
In a 6 round bout Indian fighter Neeraj Goyat (3-2-2) will battle Ronnel Esparas (10-18-1, 2) in what looks like a tough ask for Goyat, who appears to be going up in weight for the contest.
Possibly the most evenly matched bout announced for the show is a 6 rounder between Taek-Min Kim (15-7, 10) and Filipino foe Ryan Sermona (17-7, 10). Although not a headline bout this has the potential to be the pick of the bunch given the competitive looking match up and the styles of the two men involved.
Former Korean amateur fighter Se Yeol Yang (0-0) will be making his debut in a 4 rounder on this show against a fellow Korean.
Notably the bouts featuring Cuban Heavyweight Robert Alfonso and Indian fighter Dilbag Singh both appear to have been canned.
