Promising Mongolian Super Bantamweight Tugstsogt Nyambayar (6-0, 6) will return to the ring on December 8th as he looks to keep alive his exciting KO run and take the next step towards a potential world title fight.
The heavy handed Mongolian destroyer will be up against his most experienced opponent so far in the form of veteran German Meraz (55-39-1-1, 32). On paper it's a mismatch but Meraz is a solid test in some ways, with only 7 stoppage defeats in 96 previous bouts, and no one has stopped him in less than 3 rounds before, a target for Nyambayar who has only gone beyond 3 rounds once in his career so far.
Sadly the bout isn't a huge step up for Nyambayar, who we had hoped to see in with much better guys by now, but hopefully a busy 2017 will see him begin to make a mark on a division that is a bit of a sleeping giant at the moment with a lot of good contenders all mixing in Super Bantamweight weight class.
The bout will take place at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa and the card will feature other notable names like Oscar Molina (13-1-1, 10) and Mike Perez (21-2-1, 13)
