It's been confirmed over the last 36 hours that Japanese TV station will be showing the upcoming Ioka card that will take place on September 16th.
The card in question is the card that we broke the news of yesterday which will see Kazuto Ioka (14-1, 9) face Pablo Carrilo (15-2-1, 8) and Ryo Miyazaki (20-1-3, 11) face Ichal Tobida (10-12, 8).
At the moment the full details on TBS's coverage aren't completely clear, especially as the bout is set to take place during one of he football games from the Asian games that TBS had originally they were showing. We would suspect that either the show will be shown on tape delay or the football will be switched to a TBS sister station.
The fights will be the first for both men following their first losses. For Miyazaki it will be his first return to the ring following last December's loss to Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr whilst for Ioka it will be his first bout since losing to Amnar Ruenroeng. To say these fights are important is merely stating the obvious and TBS will likely hope both men win and look impressive enough to fight in a major bout on New Years Eve.
