Next weekend fight fans are in for a treat. Whilst many fans might be incredibly excited about the Middleweight title bout, between Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez, there is another reason to be excited. That's the WBC Super Featherweight title bout between the heavy handed Takashi Miura (29-2-2, 22) and talented mandatory challenger Francisco Vargas (22-0-1, 16).
The bout, which we suspect will outshine the main event, is a bout that has FOTY contender written all over it.
Today, in preparation for the bout, Miura took part in an open training session. At the session Miura looked brilliant, sharp and powerful as he hit the mitts and under-went a few rounds of sparring.
At the session Miura and his team also give small details on his preparation which has featured more than 160 rounds of sparring as he has really amped up his training ahead of a bout that could help make him an international star.
